How to get from a black and white scan to a finished icon. This might be different from how you do it, and might be different from other (most likely much better) tutorials, but this is how I do things. I'll be using a panel of the lovely Caterina Sforza from Trinity Blood, and I colour using Photoshop CS3 Portable, but it should be translatable for most programs. This tutorial is very image heavy and everything is explained for beginner level, so please bear with me.
